Caroline and Dixon had a lovely wedding at Beaulieu Vineyards, but since it rained they decided to do a "day after" shoot. A "day after" shoot is when you get dressed up in your wedding clothes again for another photo shoot. It doesn't have to be exactly the day after, it can be the following month when you've returned from your honeymoon.
You don't have to have a rainy wedding to do a day after shoot. They are really popular for destination weddings and for anyone who wants more photos in their wedding clothes on a day when we don't have any concern for the timeline or for the dress getting dirty. Some people call it a "trash the dress" shoot although I don't like the word "trash" in the context of a wedding. What it really means is that since your wedding is over, then you're free to run around with the dog... or jump in the pool if you want! |
